Starting with POINT today. I get a green box for O and yellow I. Hey, every answer since Monday has had an O. How about that? I don't know what to do with this I. It can't go at the front, so it's somewhere in the back of the word.
I'm trying to find something to put first so I can build some words. I struggle a bit, I want to use sordid, but too long. the id ending does get me to COVID, but I don't think that can be the answer, can it? I do like the -OVI-, is there something else I can use? I think about it and get MOVIE for my second guess. I'm super confident that I've got this answer in two. But nope. I do have the right spots for the O and the I, though.
Damn. My backup guess for MOVIE was MOXIE; that's stuck in my head. I pivot to TOXIC, but I used the T in the my first guess, so I'm a bit adrift. The IC ending looks promising, but how to get there? COLIC, is that how it's spelled? That is how it's spelled, but it's not the right answer, and I can see that it is going to be LOGIC.
Not bad, but a bit of a bummer to solve in four when I was positive that I had it in two. My streak is now up to 15. I hope tomorrow's answer is going to have an O in it to give us a whole week of O words. Again, I'm not sure if that is intentional or not, or if anyone else notices, but it's something to ponder.
